About
Brumba National Wildlife Refuge is a limited-interest refuge in North Dakota established in the 1930s and 1940s to protect habitat for migrating waterfowl and other birds. The land remains in private or state ownership under conservation easements, and access is controlled by the landowners rather than the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. It is managed by the Devils Lake Wetland Management District according to a Comprehensive Conservation Plan.
