Education programs
Expand the boundaries of your classroom to include Assateague Island. Choose from a variety of programs from the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague National Seashore that provide students with opportunities to discover and explore the island’s wildlife and habitats from beach to bay.

Fee Waivers
Environmental education fee waivers will be approved for educational groups visiting strictly for educational purposes. Groups who also intend to participate in recreational activities such as visiting the beach must pay the entrance fee. Examples of educational groups include: schools, scout groups, nonprofit organizations. All requests must be received 2 weeks prior to the arrival date.
