Get Involved
The Lodi Fish and Wildlife Office is a dedicated community partner, committed to working with local organizations to improve environmental conditions, support natural resource-related events and connect with youths through fun and educational activities.
Services
We provide technical assistance to members of the public, academic researchers, state, federal and local agencies, and collaborative organizations like the Interagency Ecological Program. Our expertise informs Endangered Species Act consultations, supports implementation of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act and helps guide real-time decisions on water-management operations. We also lead training in fish identification, R programming and statistical analysis for state and federal agencies and other partners. We enjoy supporting our community by contributing to science festivals, fish festivals, environmental clean-ups and other events, as well as connecting with youths through career days, classroom instruction and hands-on activities in the field.
About
The Lodi Fish and Wildlife Office promotes native and self-sustaining ecosystems through restoration, research, and fish monitoring in California's Central Valley. To reach these goals, the office prioritizes mentoring, collegiality, and strong collaborations with stakeholders and the public. Their comprehensive work includes major initiatives like the Anadromous Fish Restoration Program, the Delta Juvenile Fish Monitoring Program, and the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. Governed by integrity and excellence in science, the office also provides essential technical training and outreach.
