Overflow National Wildlife Refuge offers an instant wildlife viewing adventure. Birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians of all shapes and sizes can be viewed on the refuge. The Refuge is located 15 miles southeast of Hamburg, Arkansas, adjacent to State Highway 8, or four miles northwest of Parkdale, Arkansas on State Highway 8.

Overflow NWR Public Use Regulations
Refuge Access Permits are required for all refuge users. When signed and in your possession, the cover section of the Public Use Brochure serves as your permit for all refuge hunts and other permissible activities. While visiting the Refuge, Public Use Regulation Brochures may be obtained from various boxes located near the entrance of refuge access roads.

About
Overflow National Wildlife Refuge is a wetland complex in the watershed of Overflow Creek, primarily consisting of bottomland hardwood forests of willow and overcup oaks. Established in 1980, the refuge protects vital habitat for migratory waterfowl along the Mississippi Flyway. It manages a 13,000-acre complex of forests, impoundments, and croplands to support wildlife and provide recreational and research opportunities.
