It's Out Here!

Come along with the Reno Fish and Wildlife Office as we visit the rare and unique species that reside in California and Nevada's Great Basin! From 14,000-foot-tall peaks to remote parts of the sagebrush sea, and right in the backyard of the Reno and Carson City metro areas, we visit some of the endangered and threatened wildlife and plant life that don't usually see the spotlight. You can see new videos here on the first Tuesday of each month. Come along with us as we explore what's out here!

Services

The Reno Fish and Wildlife Office administers the Endangered Species Act by using the best available science to protect and recover imperiled species and conserve candidate species. Additionally, the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program provides technical and financial assistance to private landowners for voluntary habitat restoration projects that benefit federal trust species.
