At Rose Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Fishing is allowed in designated areas of the refuge in accordance with state regulations and subject to the following conditions: Vehicles and fish houses are allowed on the ice as conditions allow. Vehicles are restricted to non-vegetated ice areas and designated roads. Boats are allowed only on refuge waters south of Nelson County Road 23. Boats are prohibited on all other refuge waters. Anglers must park in designated parking lot.
