Fishing
At Silver Lake National Wildlife Refuge
Fishing is allowed in designated areas of the refuge in accordance with state regulations and subject to the following conditions: Vehicles and fish houses are allowed on the ice as conditions allow. Vehicles are restricted to non-vegetated ice areas and designated roads. Boats are allowed on Silver Lake and on refuge waters south of the confluence of the Mauvais Coulee and Little Coulee from May 1 through September 30. Water activities not related to fishing are prohibited (e.g. sailing, skiing, tubing).
