About
The Colorado Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office is part of a national network of field stations dedicated to conserving fish and aquatic resources across the Mountain-Prairie region. The office works cooperatively with partners such as the Department of Defense and National Park Service to manage fish, wildlife, and forest resources on federal and state lands. For nearly 40 years, the office has specialized in cutthroat trout recovery and military natural resource support under the Sikes Act. Their mission focuses on using science-based approaches to conserve and enhance aquatic resources for the benefit of the American people.
