At Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge
As an oasis in the Chihuahuan Desert for the wildlife that calls it home or a temporary home, Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge has a wide range of opportunities for visitors to observe wildlife. Visitors can take any of the five walking trails including an enclosed viewing blind, observation decks, a bike trail and the Wildlife Drive to explore the different birds and insects found in these areas.
