Wildlife watching
At Maxwell National Wildlife Refuge
Visitors can watch wildlife from a distance on refuge from the refuge trails and the country roads that intersect the refuge. Stop at the refuge trails, Lake 13, or the cottonwood day use area to watch waterfowl, songbirds, pronghorn, deer and elk.
