Wildlife watching

At Sacramento River National Wildlife Refuge
WILDLIFE WATCHING FROM THE TRAILS

OVERVIEW:  Year-round trails on eight of the units of the Sacramento River NWR (Rio Vista, Pine Creek, Capay, Ord Bend, Sul Norte, Codora, Packer, Drumheller) provide great opportunities to see migrant songbirds and resident mammals in the refuge's riparian forests and grasslands throughout all seasons.

For additional wildlife watching opportunities, we recommend the Sacramento or Colusa NWR.
